Jutta Schneider, PT, MSPT - Even though Central PT is now closed, you may still contact Jutta at jutta@centralphysicaltherapy.com.

Jutta is co-founder of Central PT & Fitness. She graduated from Pacific University in 1995 with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she worked in the fitness arena with a focus on exercise and personal training. Her philosophy of treatment emphasizes health and wellness through a strong exercise and manual therapy based approach.  Jutta continues to take advanced coursework through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.

Her areas of interest include post-surgical rehabilitation, sports and running related injuries, repetitive strain injuries, and acute spinal dysfunction.  Jutta is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Physical Therapy Association of Washington (PTWA), and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM.)  Outside of Physical Therapy, Jutta is passionate about bicycle commuting, organic gardening, progressive media, and her pets.

Robin earned a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from USC in 1981.  Her career has focused on the treatment of clients with spinal pain and disc disorders, headaches, TMJ pain, orthopedic and pre/post surgical conditions, chronic ailments (i.e., arthritis), and sports, occupational, and MVA injuries.  In addition, as a trained pelvic floor therapist, Robin enjoys helping women with pelvic and perineal pain, abdominal wall pain and dysfuction (i.e., diastasis rectus abdominis), urinary incontinence, pre/postpartum complaints, prolapse, over active bladder, and painful bladder syndrome to recover and improve their quality of life.   Empowering patients with the knowledge and tools for self-management is a keystone of her treatment philosophy. Sessions are tailored toward each client’s activity goals and includes an eclectic approach from over 2,600 hours of postgraduate training emphasizing  advanced manual therapy techniques, diagnosis and treatment of movement dysfunction, and Women's Health. A typical treatment session includes patient education, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and postural and functional / sports specific movement training.

Robin completed a postgraduate residency program in Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and earned certifications from the McKenzie Institute in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT), and Core Exercise Solutions as a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. She is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor and was an advanced clinical specialist while previously employed at a national company. In addition, Robin served as a teaching assistant for Shirley Sahrmann's "Diagnosis and Treatment of Movement Impairment Syndromes," a series of continuing education courses taught by Carrie Hall, PT, and has assisted McKenzie Method training sessions and PNF courses. She also developed and taught a Back School program for patients that she presented at an American Back Society annual conference.  Please follow Robin's blog on PT-related topics such as the McKenzie Method, Manual Therapy, and Inner Core muscle training.

Outside of the clinic, Robin enjoys spending time with family and friends.  Favorite activites include taking long walks, gardening, cooking, reading, kayaking, and keeping up with current events.  She is also an avid sports fan and cheers on the USC Trojans and Seattle sports teams.

Deb Schaack, Business Manager

Deb Schaack

Deb is co-founder of Central PT & Fitness. She has Master’s Degrees in Marketing from Texas A&M University and in Teaching from Seattle University.   Prior to her current job, Deb worked in project management for 9 years and taught at Puget Sound Community School, a local independent school for 7 years.  Deb currently manages all office operations, as well as filling the important role of office handyperson & tech. support. 

In her spare time, Deb works on house & garden projects, volunteers at Puget Sound Community School, and assists with the children's program at the Feminist Karate Union.  Deb’s passions include education, social justice

Alana Rogers obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at the University of Washington in Seattle in 2014. She believes in customizing her clients’ physical therapy care in order to 

facilitate their return to meaningful life activities.  She also enjoys working with clients to enhance their overall fitness and engagement in their health.  Her areas of interest include sports rehabilitation, particularly of the lower extremity, performing arts medicine, general orthopedics, and vestibular rehabilitation.  She utilizes a varied treatment approach with an emphasis on individualized therapeutic exercise, motor control and muscle balancing, postural training, and manual therapy to return clients to optimal function. Continuing education coursework includes further study in the folloiwng areas:  Shirley Sahrman/Movement System Impairment(s) (MSI), NAOIMT Level I and II, LJ Lee/Connect Therapy and the Thoracic Ring Approach, vestibular courses, and multiple dance medicine courses.  Outside of work, Alana enjoys dance, yoga, hiking, backpacking, gardening, sea kayaking, snowshoeing, snowboarding and spending time with family, friends and her dog. With a background of over 30 years in ballet and modern dance, Alana is passionate about treating dancers and other performance artists. She is very active in the Seattle modern dance community as a choreographer, dancer, and teacher.  Alana is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Physical Therapy Association of Washington (PTWA), the APTA Orthopedics and Performing Arts special interest groups,  Seattle Dance and Performing Arts Medicine (SeaPAM), the International Association of Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS), and the Seattle Mountaineers.
